Badshahi Mosque

Built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, this mosque is a major landmark of Lahore. Travelers visit to see its large-scale Mughal architecture and expansive courtyards.

The mosque is located in the Walled City area. From the city centre, it is accessible via rickshaw or ride-sharing apps. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey typically takes 20 to 40 minutes.

When to Visit

Visiting during the early morning or late afternoon helps avoid the midday heat. The site gets crowded during prayer times and on weekends. The cooler months from November to February are generally the most comfortable for visiting.
