Bock
The Bock
The Bock is a cliff located at the eastern edge of Luxembourg City's old town. It is the site where Count Siegfried established a castle in 963, serving as the foundation of the city. Over several centuries, the location was developed into a massive fortress, rebuilt multiple times as different powers contested control of the region. Visitors go here to explore the historic fortifications and the geological formations of the cliffside.
