The Pankhurst Centre

The Pankhurst Centre consists of two Victorian-era houses that served as the family home where the women's suffrage movement began. It now operates as a museum dedicated to the history of the fight for women's right to vote. Visitors go here to see the domestic setting of the movement and learn about the political activism of the Pankhurst family.
