Located within San Martín Park, this site consists of a small hill topped with a large monument dedicated to the Army of the Andes. Visitors go here to view the monument and observe the layout of Mendoza from an elevated vantage point.
Getting There
The hill is situated on the western edge of the city. From the city centre, you can reach it via taxi or local bus. The trip typically takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Duration of Visit
Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours is sufficient to walk up the hill, view the monument, and take in the city views.
When to Visit
Visiting during the early morning or late afternoon is recommended to avoid the midday heat. The site can become crowded during national holidays and weekends. Spring and autumn offer the most moderate temperatures for the walk.
