World Trade Centre
About the Landmark
Located in Cuffe Parade, the World Trade Centre was India's first World Trade Centre and once the tallest building in South Asia. Today, the complex remains a prominent commercial landmark symbolizing modern Mumbai. Visitors primarily go to view its distinct high-rise architecture and attend trade exhibitions or expos held in the complex.
Getting There
The site is in South Mumbai. From major transport hubs such as Churchgate or Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, taking a taxi or ride-hailing service takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes, depending on South Mumbai traffic conditions.
Time to Spend
Allow roughly 45 minutes to 1.5 hours for a visit. This provides enough time to see the complex exterior, walk through public areas, or check out ongoing exhibitions.
When to Visit
Visiting during weekday mornings or mid-afternoons helps avoid peak commuter traffic and crowded exhibition halls. For the most pleasant outdoor conditions, travel during the dry winter months between November and February.
