Britam Tower
Overview
Britam Tower is a commercial skyscraper in Nairobi's Upper Hill district and stands as the tallest building in Kenya. Visitors come to view its distinctive angular geometry and the rooftop wind turbine structure, which serve as a prominent modern landmark on the city skyline.
Getting There
Located just south of downtown Nairobi, the site is reachable by taxi or rideshare from the city centre in approximately 10 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions along connecting corridors.
Time to Spend
Plan for around 30 to 45 minutes to view the building exterior and photograph the architecture from street level or nearby viewpoints.
When to Visit
Midday or early afternoon is practical to avoid heavy weekday commuter traffic in the surrounding business district. Clear days offer the best lighting for viewing the facade and structural details.
