This site is an archaeological location and museum in Nakuru where excavations led by Dr. Mary Leakey in 1938 uncovered evidence of human habitation across several prehistoric eras. It was designated as a national monument in 1945. Visitors go here to see the physical traces of early human life in Kenya and the artifacts recovered from the site.
