Tel Shadud is an unexcavated archaeological mound located in the Jezreel Valley. Because the site has not been formally excavated, the ancient traces of the settlement remain intact. Visitors go here to observe a preserved ruin mound in a rural landscape, offering a glimpse into the region's ancient topography without the modifications of a developed tourist site.

Getting There

The site is located near Kibbutz Sarid, outside the center of Nazareth. The most practical way to reach the mound is by rental car or taxi. The drive from Nazareth city center typically takes about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Duration of Visit

Since the site consists of a small ruin mound without museums or guided facilities, most visitors spend between 30 and 60 minutes exploring the area.

When to Visit

The site is an open-air location with little shade. It is best visited during the cooler months of autumn and winter or during the early morning and late afternoon to avoid the midday heat. It does not typically get crowded due to its unexcavated nature.
