2 World Trade Center is a planned 82-story skyscraper site located in Lower Manhattan within the World Trade Center complex. With construction of the 403-meter tower currently on hold, visitors view the parcel from street level to observe the ongoing architectural redevelopment of the Financial District.
Getting There
From central Manhattan, take the subway via lines such as the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, R, or W to the World Trade Center or Fulton Street transit stations. The trip generally takes 15 to 25 minutes.

When to Visit
Daylight hours are recommended for viewing the street-level structures and neighboring high-rises. The area around the transit hub experiences heavy pedestrian and commuter traffic during weekday rush hours and midday on weekends; visiting during early morning hours provides clearer walking paths.
