Cap Enderrocat
Cap Enderrocat
Cap Enderrocat is a headland located on the southeastern side of the Bay of Palma. It is characterized by steep limestone cliffs and an unspoiled coastline that serves as a nesting ground for seabirds. Visitors go here for coastal walks and to see the 19th-century fortress, which has been converted into a luxury hotel.
Getting There
The headland is located outside the city centre of Palma. Access is typically via taxi or rental car, as there are limited direct public transport options to the cliff edge. The drive from the centre of Palma takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Duration of Visit
Allow 2 to 3 hours to explore the area. This provides enough time to walk along the coastline, observe the cliffs, and view the architecture of the nearby fortress.
When to Visit
The site is best visited during the spring and autumn when temperatures are moderate for walking. Morning visits are recommended to avoid the midday heat. While less crowded than the city centre, the coastal paths can become busier during the peak summer tourist season.
