Early Christian Necropolis of Pécs

This site is a 4th-century Roman-era underground burial ground. Visitors go here to see well-preserved tombs and chapels and early Christian decorations. Due to its historical significance and state of preservation, it is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
