This site consists of the ruins of a fortress blending Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles. Located on a cone-shaped hill 570-meter hill, it serves as a historical landmark and a vantage point for viewing the surrounding Šariš region. Visitors go here to explore the stone remains of the fortifications and observe the landscape from the summit.

Getting There

The castle is located outside the center of Prešov. Access is typically via car or local transport to the base of the hill, followed by an uphill walk to reach the ruins. The journey from the city center generally takes around 20 to 30 minutes depending on the mode of transport.
