The Broken Mosque

Located on the site of the old market in Prilep, this 15th-century mosque now exists as a ruin. The structure was burned during the unrest of 2001, leaving the main building destroyed while the broken minaret remains standing. Visitors go here to see the architectural remains and the minaret, which serves as a visual marker of the city's historical and political transitions.
