Shadërvan

This marble fountain is a remnant of the Ottoman era, located in the heart of Pristina. It is the only surviving fountain of its kind in the city. Travelers visit this site to see a piece of the city's historical architecture and to observe the central gathering point of the urban area.

The fountain is located directly within the city centre. Since it is situated in the pedestrian zone, it is accessible by foot from any central hotel or main street within a few minutes.

When to Visit

The area is open to the public at all times. It becomes crowded during the afternoons and weekends when locals gather in the square. To avoid the largest crowds, visit in the early morning.
