Positioned beside the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the stone structure has developed a slight, noticeable tilt over centuries of ground settling. Travelers stop here to observe its unusual lean and examine the Roman ruins uncovered at its base.

Located in the pedestrian area of the old town, it is a 2- to 5-minute walk from Korzo, Rijeka's central promenade.
