Trafalgar Falls
Trafalgar Falls is a natural waterfall site located on the island of Dominica. Travelers visit this location to view the falls and walk through the surrounding natural environment.
Getting There
The falls are located outside the city of Roseau. Access typically requires a vehicle, as the site is situated in a rural, mountainous area. The drive from the city centre generally takes around 30 to 45 minutes depending on road conditions.
Duration of Visit
Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours at the site. This provides enough time to walk from the parking area to the falls, observe the scenery, and return.
When to Visit
Visiting during the morning hours is recommended to avoid the peak midday heat. The site can become crowded during the primary tourist seasons and on cruise ship docking days. Avoid visiting during periods of extremely heavy rainfall, as trail conditions can become slippery.
