Overview

Quiapo Church is a Roman Catholic basilica in the Quiapo district of Manila. Pilgrims visit to venerate the Black Nazarene, a statue of Christ reputed to work miracles. Travellers go to observe Philippine Catholic traditions and devotional customs.

From central Manila, reaching the area takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes by taxi, ride-hailing car, or public jeepney, depending on traffic. Carriedo Station on the LRT-1 line is a short walk away.
