Jing'an Temple

Located on Nanjing Road West, this Buddhist temple dates back to the 3rd century Three Kingdoms period. It is one of the oldest temples in the Jiangnan region, providing a site where visitors can observe traditional religious architecture and historical artifacts amidst the modern urban landscape of Shanghai.

The temple is centrally located and easily accessible via the Shanghai Metro. Depending on your starting point in the city centre, a trip by metro or taxi typically takes between 15 to 30 minutes.
