Skopje Fortress
Located at the highest point in the city, this fortress overlooks the Vardar River. It is a historical fortification that serves as a landmark for the city, appearing on both on the local flag and the coat of arms. Visitors go here to walk along the ramparts and view the city layout from an elevated perspective.

The site is within walking distance from the city centre. Depending on your starting point in the central district, it typically takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach the entrance on foot.
