Tainan Shrine

This Shinto shrine was established during the Japanese colonial period to honor Prince Kitashirakawa-no-miya Yoshihisa. Visitors go here to observe the architectural remnants of the colonial era and to learn about the modern history of Tainan.

Getting There

The shrine is located within the central district of Tainan. From the city center, it is accessible via local bus or taxi. Depending on your starting point in the downtown area, the trip typically takes 10 to 20 minutes.
