The Kasbah Mosque is a late 17th-century structure located in the Kasbah district of Tangier's medina. Situated in the city's former royal citadel, it functions as an active place of worship. Non-Muslim visitors cannot enter the interior, so visits focus on observing its historic architecture, minaret, and setting within the citadel square.
Getting There
From central Tangier (such as Grand Socco), walking uphill through the medina takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi can drop passengers near the perimeter gates of the Kasbah, followed by a brief walk through the pedestrian alleys.
