Tashkent Zoo
Overview
Tashkent Zoo is a zoological park housing a wide variety of animals from around the world. It provides an open outdoor setting for viewing wildlife and serves primarily as a leisure destination for families traveling with children and visitors seeking a relaxed walking space.
Getting There
The park is located northeast of central Tashkent. A taxi or ride-hailing car from the city centre generally takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. Public buses also connect the area to central transit hubs.
Time to Spend
Allow roughly 2 to 3 hours to walk through the main animal exhibits and grounds without rushing.
When to Visit
Spring and autumn provide the best weather for exploring outdoor paths. In summer, visit early in the day to avoid peak heat and catch animals when they are more active. The grounds can become crowded on weekends and holidays, so weekdays offer a calmer visit.
