Bridge of Peace
Overview
The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge over the Kura River in Tbilisi. Connecting Rike Park with the Old Town, it provides an easy river crossing and clear views of the surrounding city and riverfront.
Getting There
The bridge is located in central Tbilisi. From Freedom Square, walking through the Old Town takes about 10 to 15 minutes. From Avlabari, walking down through Rike Park takes roughly 10 minutes.
Time to Spend
Plan for 15 to 30 minutes to cross the bridge, take in the views from both railings, and take photos.
When to Visit
After sunset, integrated LEDs illuminate the canopy, making evening a popular time for night views. It frequently gets crowded during summer evenings and weekends. Visit in the morning or early afternoon for a quieter experience.
