Overview
The Ramat Gan Safari is an expansive zoological park combining an open drive-through African safari zone with a paved, walk-through zoo. It holds the largest wildlife collection in the Middle East. Visitors can observe herds roaming across open habitats from their vehicle before exploring shaded enclosures and aviaries on foot.
Getting There
Located just east of Tel Aviv, the grounds sit roughly 8 to 10 kilometres from the city centre. A car or taxi ride takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. Municipal buses also connect central Tel Aviv to nearby stops, with journeys taking around 40 minutes.
