Kristiansten Fortress
Located on a hill overlooking hill, this 17th-century fortification was constructed to defend Trondheim. Visitors go here to see the historical military architecture and to view the city from an elevated vantage point. The site is known for its role in repelling a Swedish attack in 1718.
