Puutori
Puutori
Puutori is a public square located in downtown Turku. Historically a site for regular markets, it now serves as a venue for various annual events and public gatherings. Visitors typically stop here for a brief break during a city walk or to view the statue dedicated to friendship located on one side of the space.
Getting There
The square is situated in the heart of the city centre. It is accessible on foot from most central hotels and landmarks within a few minutes of walking.
Time Requirement
Because of its modest size, approximately 15 to 30 minutes is sufficient to walk through the square and observe the surroundings.
When to Visit
The square is open to the public throughout the year. It is most active during the day and during scheduled events. Like most central urban spaces, it can become crowded during local festivals or public celebrations.

Due to its central location, the square can be combined with several other nearby sites within walking distance:
- Turku Orthodox Church (0.3km)
- Turku Market Square (0.3km)
