Located in Viña del Mar, this site is a public park consisting of landscaped gardens, the Vergara Palace, and a large open-air theater. Travelers visit the grounds for the botanical displays and the architecture of the palace. The open-air theater is the permanent venue for the annual Viña del Mar International Song Festival.

The park is situated within the urban area of Viña del Mar. From the city center, it is accessible via local buses or taxis. The trip typically takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Allow approximately 2 to 3 hours to walk through the gardens and view the palace exterior and the theater area.
When to Visit
The gardens are best visited during the spring and summer months when the flora is in bloom. The site becomes very crowded during the dates of the International Song Festival. To avoid the largest crowds, visit on weekday mornings.
