The HMNZS Wellington is a former British Royal Navy frigate that served in the Royal New Zealand Navy from 1982 until its decommissioning. In 2005, the ship was scuttled to create an artificial reef. Today, it serves as a wreck site specifically for scuba divers who wish to explore the submerged vessel.
