Tower of the Yellow Crane

Located on the banks of the Yangtze River in Wuhan, this historic tower is one of the three most famous towers in China. Travelers visit the site to view the city skyline and the river from the upper levels and to explore the surrounding traditional architecture.

Getting There

The tower is accessible from the city center via the Wuhan Metro or by taxi. Depending on your starting point in the central district, the journey typically takes 20 to 40 minutes.

Duration of Visit

Allow approximately 2 to 3 hours to climb the tower, observe the views, and walk through the surrounding grounds.

When to Visit

The site is often crowded, particularly during national holidays and weekends. Visiting early in the morning is recommended to avoid the largest crowds. Spring and autumn are the most temperate seasons for visiting the outdoor areas.
