Bali Museum
발리 박물관(인도네시아어·발리어: Museum Bali)은 인도네시아 발리주 덴파사르에 위치한 미술관 및 역사 박물관이다. 덴파사르 중앙 광장 타만 푸푸탄(Taman Puputan) 동쪽에 자리하고 있다.

The Bali Museum is a state museum in central Denpasar covering Balinese art, textiles, ritual objects, weaponry, and historical artifacts. The complex itself is worth noticing: several pavilions are built in traditional Balinese temple and palace architectural styles, arranged around courtyards, so the setting adds to the exhibits rather than just housing them. It suits travellers who want context on Balinese culture and history beyond beaches and temples, especially before visiting village temples or craft centers elsewhere on the island.
Getting there
The museum sits in Denpasar's Puputan Square area, close to the city's administrative and religious core. From central Denpasar it's a short trip by car or scooter, generally under 15 minutes depending on traffic. From Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), allow 30-45 minutes by taxi or ride-hailing, as the route runs through Denpasar's more congested streets.
Time to allow
Most visitors spend around 1 to 1.5 hours moving through the pavilions and courtyards. Add extra time if you want to read exhibit labels closely or photograph the architecture.
When to go
Mornings tend to be quieter and cooler for walking between the open-air courtyards. The museum is not typically crowded compared to Bali's beach and temple attractions, but exhibit spaces have limited climate control, so visiting during the cooler part of the day is more comfortable than midday heat.
Combine it with
Pura Maospahit is only about 1km away and makes an easy pairing, both being anchored in Denpasar's historical core. The Bajra Sandhi Monument (2.3km) and Holy Spirit Cathedral (2.2km) are also within a short drive and can be combined into a half-day loop around central Denpasar. The Le Mayeur Museum, about 5.3km away in Sanur, is a further trip but pairs well thematically if you're interested in art collections tied to Bali's history.
