Brancacci Chapel
Die Brancacci-Kapelle ist eine Seitenkapelle in der Kirche Maria del Carmine in Florenz. Ihre Wände bedeckt ein Fresken-Zyklus, der in den 1420er Jahren von den Malern Masolino und Masaccio ausgeführt wurde. What it is
The Brancacci Chapel is a side chapel inside the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, decorated between 1425 and 1427 with a fresco cycle depicting scenes from the life of St. Peter. Getting there
The chapel is in the Oltrarno district on the south side of the Arno. From the Duomo or Piazza della Signoria, it's about a 20-25 minute walk, or a short ride on local buses that cross into Oltrarno.
