プナタラン・サシ寺院 は、インドネシアのバリ州（バリ島）ギャニャール県タンパクシリン郡の村ペジェンにある、バリ・ヒンドゥー教寺院（プラ、pura）である。ウブドの東、海抜207メートルの場所に位置する。ペジェンの村はかつてバリ王国の中心であったと考えられ、プナタラン・サシ寺院は、西暦1293-1343年にかけて、ペジェンにおける国家的寺院の役割を果たしたといわれる。

Pura Penataran Sasih is a village temple in Pejeng that served as the state temple of the former Pejeng Kingdom. Most visitors come for the bronze drum housed in a pavilion within the temple grounds, known locally as the "Moon of Pejeng," one of the older cast bronze objects associated with Southeast Asia's Bronze Age. The temple itself remains an active place of worship, with tiered shrines and stone gateways typical of Balinese temple architecture.
Getting there
From central Ubud, it's roughly a 20-25 minute drive northeast through Peliatan and Bedulu. There's no direct public transport, so a car, driver, or scooter is the practical option. Roads narrow as you get closer to Pejeng village.
Time to allow
The temple complex is compact, so 30-45 minutes is usually enough to see the drum pavilion and walk through the courtyards.
When to go
Mornings tend to be quieter and cooler for walking around. This temple sees far fewer visitors than sites like Goa Gajah, so crowding isn't usually a concern, though ceremony days can bring more local activity and may limit access to certain shrines.
