Located at the foot of the hills in southeastern Yerevan, this is the only zoo in Armenia. Spanning 35 hectares, the facility houses a variety of animal species and serves as a primary destination for families and visitors interested in wildlife within the city.
Getting There
The zoo is located outside the central district. Visitors typically reach the site from the city centre via taxi or local public transport. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey generally takes between 20 and 40 minutes.

Given the size of the grounds and the number of enclosures, visitors should allow approximately 3 to 5 hours to walk through the site and view the animals at a steady pace.
