Getting There

Located directly in central Alexandria, the area is a 5- to 15-minute walk from nearby downtown points. From the main railway station or along the Corniche, a taxi or tram ride takes roughly 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.

When to Visit

Late afternoon and early evening are the most active times, though the area gets very crowded with vehicles and pedestrian traffic. Morning hours are quieter. Autumn through spring provides the most comfortable temperatures for walking outdoors.
