The gateway for all visitors is Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport (JIB). Since Arta is not a primary hub, there is no direct public transit from the airport to the town.

• From the Airport: Arrange a private vehicle or rental car through your coordinator to travel from the airport to Arta via the main highway.
• Getting Around Arta: The town is small enough that short distances can be covered on foot, but for exploring the surrounding highlands or returning to the capital, a hired driver is the only reliable option.
