Ramstore Bridge
Overview
Ramstore Bridge is an arched bridge spanning the Ishim River in downtown Astana, built between 2007 and 2008. It serves as both a transit route and a local architectural landmark. Travelers visit primarily to walk along the river embankment, cross between riverside areas, and view the arch structure against the urban skyline.
Getting There
Located in central Astana, the bridge is easily reached on foot, by local bus, or by taxi from downtown. Walking from central points takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes, while a bus or taxi ride from the city centre generally takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic.

Allow 20 to 30 minutes for a visit. This is enough time to walk across the pedestrian pathway and view the river from both sides.
When to Visit
Evening is a practical time to visit to see the bridge illuminated. Late spring through early autumn provides the most comfortable weather for walking, whereas winter brings extreme cold and freezing winds along the open water. The surrounding promenade sees moderate pedestrian traffic on pleasant summer evenings, but it rarely gets overcrowded.
