Presidential Mansion
The Presidential Mansion is the official residence of the President of Greece. Originally built as a royal palace, it transitioned to its current function after the monarchy was abolished in 1974. Visitors typically visit the exterior to view the architecture and observe the changing of the guard ceremony performed by the Evzones.
Getting There
The building is located in the center of Athens. From Syntagma Square, it is a short walk of a few minutes. If traveling from other parts of the city, the Metro is the most direct method to reach the surrounding area.
