The stelae of Nahr el-Kalb consist of roughly 20 commemorative reliefs carved into limestone cliffs at the river mouth north of Beirut. Left by successive civilizations over centuries—including Egyptian, Assyrian, Roman, and modern forces—the carvings document military passages along this strategic coastal route.

Located north of Beirut along the main coastal highway, the site is reachable from the city centre by car or taxi in approximately 20 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
