Ušće Tower
Ušće Tower
Located in the Novi Beograd district, this 25-story skyscraper is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Belgrade. Visitors typically go to view the modern architecture of the twin towers and to observe the surrounding cityscape and the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.
Getting There
The tower is situated in New Belgrade, across the river from the old city center. You can reach it via public bus or taxi. The journey from the central pedestrian zone generally takes 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions across the bridges.
Time Allocation
Since the primary interest is the exterior architecture and the surrounding plaza, allow approximately 30 to 60 minutes for a visit. If you are combining it with a walk along the riverbank, you may want to allocate more time.
When to Visit
The area is open and accessible at all times. Visiting during the day provides the best visibility of the architecture, while evening visits allow you to see the building illuminated. It does not typically experience the same level of crowding as the historic fortress area.
Nearby Attractions
The tower is positioned near several cultural and natural sites, making it easy to group these visits together:
- Museum of Contemporary Art (0.6km)
- Malo Ratno Ostrvo (0.8km)
- Pobednik (1.1km)
- Belgrade Military Museum (1.2km)
