Parque Mirador de los Nevados
Parque Mirador de los Nevados
This park is a repurposed quarry site located on the eastern hills of Bogotá. Visitors go here primarily for the lookout point, which provides a wide view of the city center and the Andes mountains. The grounds feature walking trails used for birdwatching and displays of sculptures based on Muisca culture.
Getting There
The park is located in the eastern mountains, away from the city center. The most common way to reach it is via taxi or ride-sharing app from downtown Bogotá. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey typically takes 30 to 60 minutes.
Duration of Visit
Allow approximately 2 to 3 hours to walk the trails, view the sculptures, and spend time at the lookout point.
