Key Transport Modes in Bridgetown

Government buses (blue): Run by the state transport board, these large blue buses with yellow stripes connect Bridgetown to all major parishes. They offer the most comfortable public ride, but you must carry exact cash as fareboxes do not give change.

Minibuses (yellow) and ZR vans (white): Privately operated yellow buses and white minivans (known locally as "ZRs", marked by a maroon stripe) cover high-demand corridors like the south coast. They run frequently and give change, but they pack tightly and play loud music.
