What It Is

The Wheel of Brisbane is a 60-meter-tall Ferris wheel located on the riverbank in downtown Brisbane. Visitors ride in enclosed capsules to view the city skyline, the river, and surrounding areas from above. It serves primarily as a convenient vantage point for photography and orientation.

Getting There

From the central business district, walking across Victoria Bridge takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes. Alternatively, buses or trains to South Brisbane Station take about 5 to 10 minutes from city-centre transit hubs.

Time to Allow

A standard ride lasts approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Allow 30 to 45 minutes in total to account for queuing, boarding, and the ride.

When to Visit

Late afternoon and sunset provide clear visibility as city lights turn on across the skyline. The attraction gets crowded on weekends, school holidays, and evenings. Weekday mornings and early afternoons typically have shorter wait times.
