Chungnyeolsa is a Confucian shrine located in the Dongnae-gu district of Busan. It was established to honor Song Sang-hyeon, the magistrate who died defending the city during the Japanese invasions of Korea, as well as Jeong Bal, who fell during the battle for Busanjinseong Fortress. Visitors go here to learn about the region's military history and to see the traditional architecture of a memorial shrine.
