Located in Dalseong-gun, Choejeongsan is a 905-meter mountain characterized by a gently sloping plateau. It is the only area in Daegu where highland farming and grazing occur, providing a landscape that differs from the rest of the city's geography.

Getting There

The mountain is situated in the Dalseong-gun district. From Daegu city centre, you can reach the area via taxi or local bus. Depending on your starting point and traffic, the journey typically takes 40 to 60 minutes.

Depending on whether you are visiting the plateau for the scenery or hiking the trails, allow 3 to 5 hours to explore the area and return to your transport.

When to Visit

The plateau is best visited during the spring and autumn when temperatures are moderate for outdoor activity. Early morning visits are recommended to avoid midday heat. While it is less crowded than central urban parks, weekends may see an increase in local visitors.
