About the Park

Dalseong Park is an urban green space established on the site of an ancient earthen fortress. Visitors can walk along tree-lined pathways framed by the remaining traces of the historic earthworks, making it a convenient stop for a relaxed stroll in central Daegu.

Getting There

Located in the heart of downtown Daegu, the grounds are easily accessible on foot or by public transit from the city centre, typically taking about 10 to 15 minutes. For incoming travellers, the city is served by Daegu International Airport (TAE).

Suggested Visit Duration

Allow between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours to walk the perimeter paths and explore the grounds at an unhurried pace.

When to Visit

Mornings and late afternoons provide the most comfortable conditions for walking. Midday heat during the summer months can make unshaded sections uncomfortable. The park draws local residents and can get crowded on weekend afternoons, so aim for a weekday morning for a quieter visit.
