Located in the Daedeok-gu district of Daejeon, this mountain is a natural site known for its ridge trails. It is referred to as Gyejoksan because the ridge resembles a chicken's leg, and it is also called Bonghwangsan due to its resemblance to a phoenix. Visitors go here to walk the ridge trails and experience the local landscape.

The mountain is accessible from Daejeon city centre via local bus or taxi. Depending on the specific trailhead and traffic conditions, the journey typically takes between 30 to 50 minutes.
