Stupa of State Preceptor Jigwang from Beopcheonsa Temple Site

This attraction is a Buddhist stupa originally located at Beopcheonsa Temple in Wonju. It is a National Treasure of South Korea with a history of being taken to Japan during the colonial period before its eventual return. Visitors go here to view the intricate stone carvings and learn about the artifact's repatriation. It is currently housed and displayed at the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
