Dhakeshwari Temple
Located in Old Dhaka, this site is the national temple of Bangladesh. It is a Hindu temple and is notable for being the only state-managed Hindu temple in the country. Visitors go here to observe the architecture and experience one of the most significant religious sites for the Hindu community in Dhaka.

The temple is situated within the dense urban fabric of Old Dhaka. From the city centre, the most common way to reach the site is via rickshaw or ride-sharing services. Travel time varies significantly depending on traffic conditions, but it typically takes 30 to 60 minutes from central areas.

When to Visit
