Fatih Mosque is an Ottoman-era place of worship completed in 1502, following the Ottoman conquest of the region. Recognized as an official cultural heritage site in Albania, the building offers visitors a concrete look at the city's early Islamic architecture and layered history.

Located directly in the historic center of Durrës, the site is easily reached on foot. A walk from the main city square takes roughly two to five minutes.

Morning or late afternoon visits provide the most comfortable walking temperatures. Because this is an active religious building, plan visits outside of daily prayer services to avoid disturbing worshippers. The site rarely experiences heavy crowd congestion.
