About the Mosque
Naziresha Mosque is an Ottoman-era religious site in Elbasan, built in 1599. Travellers visit to study its surviving late 16th-century architecture and to experience a quiet, functioning historical space.

The site is situated close to the city centre. A walk from central Elbasan takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes. Travellers flying into Albania arrive via Tirana International Airport (TIA), located northwest of Elbasan.

When to Visit
